The ballet Giselle by Adolf Adam is one of the most famous performances of the world classical choreographic repertoire. Over time, he turned to Giselle and perfected her choreography by Marius Petipa. At the beginning of the 20th century, during the triumphant “Russian Seasons”, Sergey Diaghilev brought Giselle to Paris, and the French saw their national ballet, carefully preserved in Russia.
